| Spezialiced Training / Instruction in Welding |
| Modern welding plants and equipment for gas welding (40 stations), arc welding (48 stations), TIG welding (22 stations) and MAG welding (13 stations) are available for the practical training in which the apprentice as the certified welder and welding instructor can qualify in welding egineering according to the DVS (German Welding Society) and EWF (European Federation for Welding, Joining and Cutting). The advanced Training and retraining (also in cooperation with firms, the Labor Office and other institutions) impart the knowledge for the regular welder qualification test according to Euronorm (DIN EN 287) ISO 9306 and other specifications. The qualification for certified welding coordinators is obtained in the theoretical training for welding expert, welding technician, and welding engineer which is carried out by SLV in Germany and foreign countries. Seminars ranging from one to several days, often held in cooperation with the German Technical Control Board (TÜV Baden e.V.), various Universities etc., add fields of knowledge related to reports on new findings and experience on all sectors of welding engineering to the advanced training program. The seminars are held in various classrooms and lecture rooms with high-technology equipment. |
